What does bridging the gap mean?
What we're trying to do is to spread the general awareness of animation as a medium for film making where the artist learns to looks outside the tools and into a more holistic zone as a film maker/artist. We address the nuances of animation film making without getting into the technical specification, while understanding the challenges of envisioning good films, you can learn the tools at your respective institutes / schools; we will give you a fundamental concept based understanding of animation so that it helps you to develop into a complete animation film maker.
What is this Module, Session, Class, can you explain?
In simple terms 1 Module = 1 full day. Some Masterclasses may have more than 1 module. We will cover the entire subject of animation film making across each of the modules. It is purely for ease of understanding that we have broken down the days proceedings into topics. ALL topics will be discussed together as a comprehensive subject. So when modules are announced - Module 1 will cover Part 1 of each of the topics, Module 2 will cover Part 2 of each the topics and Module 3 (if applicable) will cover Part 3 of each of the topics and so on

What are these sub-parts listed under the classes? Will the day be divided into sessions as well?
The topics listed cover various aspects of animation film making. They have been put there to explain what we are going to discuss. It’s an overall explanation of the content. The day is not broken into separate sessions. It’s a complete experience, so if to explain an aspect of one topic we need to cross over to the other, we will do so.

What new topics will be covered in subsequent modules?
As explained above, each master class may be split into modules of a day each. The topics will remain the same through all the modules, where we start with a basic level to a more advanced one over the next few days. Look at it more as one big class split over many days with assignments in between.

What is the difference between RamSinghKumaresh –The Animation Masterclass– and other master classes?
There are many important differences, among them:

So is this another seminar on animation?
This is a seminar with a twist. We wish to follow up with the students after each session unlike the general seminar format, by giving assignments and allowing room for critiquing what comes back as submissions. This will help both us and the students to have more control and focus towards what is shared each day. Discussions will not be limited to RamSinghKumaresh’s viewpoints alone. We are interested in audience critique as well. So you need to have your thinking caps on at all times.

Since there are modules, do I have to sign up for all right away?
This will depend on the Masterclass structure. In some cases we may give and option of signing up for individual days, in other cases we may not. An attendee may be able to choose to sign up for the each module as they are announced. Although we do caution you that missing even one of the modules will break the continuity of the sessions for you. If required, we may take complete registrations for the entire Masterclass together, irrespective of the number of days / modules.

I am not tech savvy; will this Masterclass be useful for me?
The basic premise for the audience is an interest in animation film making. Understanding of tools and technology is nice but not a pre-requisite for all those wishing to attend. If you like animation film making, story telling, or just want to expand your horizons, this is the place you should be

Why have you kept such a nominal fee? Is this for one day or for the entire Masterclass?
The fee is to cover our basic expenses for time and effort spent in setting up these classes. In our individual capacity, each of us is gainfully engaged in animation production. The purpose of this initiative is not to make a quick buck, but to collectively contribute to the education pool and make ourselves available to those who want to benefit from our practical work experience. So to that effect, as long as our day costs are met, we are happy to share our knowledge and expertise with the participants. Costs per head will be defined clearly, either per day, per seat or per seat per Masterclass

Mode of payment is not mentioned, can I pay by cheque, pay order, bank transfer?
At present only CASH payments are being accepted. A direct bank transfer or cash deposit is also acceptable. Details of the account number and bank are available on personal contact. Call any one of numbers listed for assistance.

Subscription to our database is to enable us to keep you updated on all future developments. IT DOES NOT IMPLY REGISTRATION / RESERVATION. You have to make the requisite payment in order to reserve your seat.

Why no Spot registrations?
The logistics and support required in order to manage the crowds in spot registrations is huge. At present RamSinghKumaresh does not have the luxury of such organizational support, so we are minimizing the crowd management requirements through pre-registrations. Also it gives us a complete idea of how many attendees to expect well before the event, so that if any special arrangements have to be made, we are prepared in advance for the same.

Will RamSinghKumaresh travel to other parts of India? And when?
The arrangements required for traveling to other parts are many, local venue has to be booked, local registration centers have to be opened, travel, boarding, lodging arrangements for us have to be made, and all this only if there is a minimum or captive crowd assurance. Our aim is to travel all over the country, in fact even the world if possible. However we will require support at the ground level for this to be made feasible.
